I'm claiming the award for fastest post after a race. It was a great day for mtbing. High Gear made a great showing thanks to Aaron smashing the expert field. We had the biggest unified team there,as seen by this beautiful photo:
I really didn't want to be racing today, but thirty minutes into the race I started feeling better (even though I had let the older riders pass). I turned out an ok lap at 1 hour 50 mins. It got me a third place and a prize, not a bad day of riding for being depressed this morning.
I'm actually riding in the passenger seat typing this post into my new cell phone, it has internet and other good stuff. Like photos of me:
