Race Results

I rode a couple of races since my last post: The Ouachita Challenge in Arkansas, and the Lawrence River Mountain Bike Challenge. I placed 151st at the 65 mile true mountain bike race of the Ouachita mountains. My knee had frozen up a bit and was killing me to the point that I rode 20-25 miles with mainly my right leg. It was a painful race, one for the books.
The small and smooth 4.4 mile loop of the Lawrence river trail was a 180 from the Arkansas race. It was soo fast. I placed 2nd out of 4 single speeders. I know Randy and my lungs were burning after that high intensity spin.

I also had the opportunity to get my VO2 max tested by G Cat. I came out with a 54 or so, it is a very specific science to get those numbers. I would have to have G explain it to you.

Looks like a triathlon this sunday. I think good things will happen swimming and biking, not so much running.
